News India Live, Digital Desk: The terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir continues globally. Swiss Federal Councilor and External Affairs Minister Ignji Cassis has condemned the attack and appealed not to increase tension in the area and exercise restraint. Cassis told on the social media platform X that he said that Indian Foreign Minister S.K. Talked to Jaishankar, in which Switzerland strongly condemned this tragic incident, expressed condolences to the afflicted families and called for restraint to reduce stress. Cassis clarified that the Switzerland is ready to support the dialogue process.
Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar also welcomed the conversation and thanked Cassis for Switzerland’s support and solidarity and agreed to ‘zero tolerance’ against terrorism.
America also committed to condolences and cooperation
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has also expressed its condolences on the Pahalgam attack. Rubio expressed condolences to those killed in the attack during a conversation with Jaishankar and assured India of full cooperation from the US in the fight against terrorism. Rubio also encouraged India and Pakistan to work together to reduce tension in the region and to promote peace and security in South Asia.
Jaishankar said that he clarified in the discussion with Rubio that criminals, planners and supporters of this attack should be punished severely.
