Majors of top intelligence agencies around the world are gathering in Delhi. This meeting is taking place at the same time. Whereas concern is increasing around the world about security. The Global Intelligence Conference will be held on 16 March 2025. And this global intelligence conference will be chaired by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Intelligence heads of other countries including the US and Britain will gather in Delhi.
Global intelligence conference
The global intelligence conference has been organized in India amidst the Russia-Ukraine War and a tense situation in West Asia. The event to be held in Delhi will be chaired by Ajit Doval, a National Security Advisor called James Bond of India. Dignitaries such as American National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, Canadian detective chief Daniel Rogers and Britain’s MI6 chief Richard Moore will attend the Global Intelligence Conference. This meeting is taking place at the same time. Whereas concern is increasing around the world about security. The navies of China, Russia and Iran are practicing. Meanwhile, the rebels have kidnapped a train in the speech of the Balochistan province of the neighboring country Pakistan.
The global intelligence conference is expected to discuss ways to share intelligence information to deal with terrorism and various international crimes. Intelligence heads of Australia, Germany, New Zealand and many other friendly countries of India are also expected to participate in the discussion in New Delhi. Gabbard is coming to India under a multi-country visit to Japan, Thailand and France. This will be the first high -level visit of India to a senior official of Donald Trump Administration. In addition to attending the conference of intelligence heads, there is also a possibility of addressing Gabbard’s RC negotiations and holding bilateral meetings with NSA Doval.
The issue of financing terrorism will also be discussed.
American National Intelligence Director Tulsi Garber will visit India on 15 March. Last month, Gabbard met Prime Minister Modi during his visit to Washington DC. The heads and sub-heads of intelligence and security organizations of about 20 countries are expected to come together at the conference of security and intelligence heads. In his discussion, intelligence heads are also expected to focus on various global challenges. It also includes the effects of Russia-Ukraine War and Conflict in the Middle East. Officials said security and intelligence can discuss ways to deal with crimes in digital sector along with security and intelligence.
Important steps taken by the Canadian government after Trudeau’s resignation
Canada’s security of Canada’s head of intelligence service to India’s visit to India is under the bitterness arising between the two countries over the Hardeep Singh Nijjar case. Rogers’s visit is taking place after Justin Trudeau departs. In September 2023, the relations between India and Canada became quite tense after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused of involvement of Indian agents in Nijjar’s murder on Canadian land. New Delhi dismissed Trudeau’s allegations as absurd. In the second half of the previous year, relations worsened, when Ottawa linked several Indian diplomats, including High Commissioner Sanjay Verma, to Nijjar’s murder. Last October, Canada expelled Verma and five other diplomats. In retaliation, New Delhi also expelled Canada’s in -charge Stuart Wheeler and five other diplomats. It is expected that the issue may also be discussed in Doval’s conversation with Rogers.
