In a jaw-dropping moment from the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips took a spectacular catch to dismiss Pakistan’s Mohammed Rizwan, leaving the crowd in awe.

The catch, which will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the tournament, came when Rizwan, looking to accelerate Pakistan’s innings, attempted to square cut off New Zealand pacer Will O’Rourke. However, Phillips, stationed at deep point, had other plans.

New Zealand are in a commanding position against Pakistan

In response, Pakistan got off to a poor start, losing Saud Shakeel and Mohammed Rizwan early. However, Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman will look to steady the ship and guide Pakistan to a successful chase. Currently Pakistan are 35-2 at the end of 13 overs.
