Hamirpur, 25 November (HS). The video of a unique wedding in the district is going viral on social media on Monday. In a viral video, a disabled person is getting married to his girlfriend by filling her with vermillion. This disabled person, who used to take seven trips with his girlfriend, lost both his legs by jumping in front of a train seven years ago. A case of kidnapping of a girl is also registered against him in the police station. After the marriage, the police have taken the married couple into custody and started investigation.
The seven year old love story of Sushil Kumar and Kalpana, living in Binwar town, has now taken a new turn. Sushil Kumar and Kalpana of the town started falling in love with the school in the year 2017. The love story of these two displeased the family members. Due to the insistence of her family, Kalpana left her studies midway and her family even stopped her from going out of the house. Due to this, Sushil took a scary step and jumped in front of the train in Maudha area. Both his legs were amputated. He recovered after prolonged treatment, but he had lost both his legs in the incident.
Even after becoming disabled, he did not leave his girlfriend and opened a shop in the town itself. His girlfriend also used to come there to meet him. Troubled by the opposition from their family, Kalpana and Sushil ran away from home. The family members kept searching for both of them but could not find anyone anywhere. Recently, after reaching the temple, both of them got married, the video of which is now going viral on social media. In the video, Sushil applied vermillion on the demand of his girlfriend while sitting on the ground. After the wedding went viral on social media, Kalpana’s family members were shocked.
Kalpana’s father filed a case of kidnapping of his daughter against disabled Sushil in Binwar police station. As soon as the case was registered, the police took both of them into custody and started investigation. In the police station, Kalpana said in clear words that she wants to live with Sushil and got married as per her own wish.
Police station in-charge Dharmendra Kumar said on Monday that the girl has stated her age as twenty-four years and has given a statement that she will marry as per her wish. Incharge CO KK Tripathi said that the girl will be presented in the court and her statement will be made. Further action will be taken after the statement.
