Women who do not meet the criteria
However, the government implemented the verification process as it was found that women who did not meet the scheme norms had also availed the scheme. Women who are not eligible under it are being excluded from the scheme.
Ineligible as per government decision
According to the government decision issued on 28 June 2024 and 3 July 2024, ineligible women are being excluded from the ‘Chief Minister’s Ladli Bahn’ scheme. Women whose income is more than 2.5 lakhs, who have four wheelers in the house and who are getting financial benefits through other government schemes, have been excluded from the scheme.Read more

The money of the month of February has started depositing in the bank accounts of our beloved sisters. It has been told that Rs 3490 crore has been transferred from the Finance Department for this purpose.
Profit amount will not be withdrawn
The honorarium amount will not be distributed to the beneficiaries found ineligible for the ‘Chief Minister’s Ladli Bahn’ scheme. Also, the government has already made it clear that the profit amount paid will not be withdrawn from the bank accounts of the beneficiaries (from July 2024 to December 2024).
