Choudhary asked the tool to work on iconic scenes from films like DDLJ, Golmaal, Welcome, and many more. Uploading screenshots of the actual scenes, he requested Ghibli images, leaving him and fellow Bollywood fans in awe.

The first image of his list was a Ghibli-style tribute to SRK-Kajol film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and its climax train scene. It showed an animated version of Raj and Simran boarding the train. The AI version of the scene resembled the original one, only making it better.
The visual elements received a soft editing touch which made the Bollywood movie scene appear straight out of a comic book or an animated production.
Notably, the Ghibli version of the DDLJ scene turned the train into a Japanese one, with the coach inscribed with Japanese characters.
While this scene stole the attention of netizens, there was more for Bollywood fans. Choudhary’s post displayed more Ghibli photos of movie scenes. One of the pictures recreated the popular Shiva Linga lifting scene from the hit film ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, while another featured Rajpal Yadav from Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Netizens join the Ghibli-Bollywood trend
Well, that wasn’t all. Other images created with this user’s prompt tweaked scenes from the Bollywood film ‘Hera Pheri’, Gangs of Wasseypur and Golmaal among others. Inspired by Choudhary’s post, an X user, named Chintan Vaghela, used ChatGPT’s new studio to tweak a scene from the much-loved Aamir Khan film ‘Taare Zameen Par’. Another user, Pranav Kumar, rolled out a Ghibli version of the meme scene from ‘Welcome’: “Control, Uday, Control”.
