Viral X Thread Captures German Developer Narrating His Experience Of Visiting India | X/Samuel Huber
Days after a British-Indian tourist’s post went viral for calling India “Dump”, a contrary experience has surfaced online. A recent X thread ran all praises for India and its people. It was shared by a German developer named Samuel Huber visiting the country for his Farcaster Builders International Fellowship. Sharing photos and their captions online, Samuel narrated episodes from his visit to India while noting that every minute he spent here was a great one.
“Loved every minute with my bhais”
“I stayed in Dharamshala and loved every minute with my bhais. Here’s my raw and unfiltered experience in India,” the developer said while drawing the attention of X users towards his series of posts on the social media platform.
“Beautiful place with lovely people out there”
His thread ran across various topics. In his posts, he talked about playing football on the top of a mountain, going on a long 12-hour car ride and sleeping in the vehicle itself, trying some local cuisine and romancing the picturesque locations of the country.
Through his thread, he conveyed a message that India is a “beautiful place with lovely people out there”. During his visit, he made several friends, whom he preferred to call “Bhais (brothers)”.
Samuel’s take on developers and tech scenes in India
Samuel threw light on the tech scenes in India that he witnessed during the fellowship get-together. “Everyone here was a bhai builder — so we spent time working and hacking things together. We explored the depths of Farcaster, Base, and onchain ecosystem. I built a Farcaster Frame in the Fellowship and everyone else were shipping final updates”.
“I want to take a moment and tell you: The bhai movement & Indian developers are REAL. India has truly become #1 in onboarding crypto devs for good reasons. Perhaps a thread for another day”, he added while quoting some data from the recent Electric Capital’s developer report.
Off the tech side of his visit, photos showed him wearing a ‘kurta’ and enjoying desi dishes at local eateries.
