Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has increased the honorarium of MNREGA workers working in the state by 5 percent. This increase has been done from 1 November 2022. This decision of CM Gehlot will put an additional burden of 4.10 crores on the state government. With this decision, the income of workers working on various posts in MNREGA will increase and their standard of living will improve. It is noteworthy that in the budget of the year 2022-23, CM Gehlot had announced to increase the honorarium of MNREGA workers working in various departments of the state, whose honorarium does not have a provision for increase. Let us tell you, the Gehlot government has started the Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme to provide employment to the urban youth.
