Ashwin announced his retirement because of Gambhir?

Ashwin said that he has announced his retirement as per his wish. But according to fans, Gambhir’s decision to give priority to Washington Sundar over Ashwin led to Ashwin announcing his retirement. After Ashwin’s retirement, only four players are left in the Indian team, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami.
