Gautam Gambhir broke silence on news of dressing room dispute
After the last match of the T20 series, when India defeated England by 150 runs, Gautam Gambhir was questioned about rumors of rift in the dressing room. Abhinav Mukund, Parthiv Patel and Kevin Pietersen asked Gambhir to his opinion on the team’s atmosphere.
Gambhir said on the controversies arising during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy:
“These players have played a lot of cricket with each other. There were many types of rumors a month ago (laughing). When the performance of the Indian team is bad, stories are made about the dressing room. But as soon as we start winning, everything becomes normal. “
It is clear that Gambhir termed all the controversies as mere rumors and clarified that the atmosphere of Team India is good.
