According to the report of News24, that player is none other than Sarfaraz Khan of Mumbai. However, there has been no official response from Gambhir or Sarfaraz on this report yet.

Gambhir told BCCI stakeholders that it was Sarfaraz who leaked the information about his anger in the dressing room after the defeat in the Boxing Day Test to the media. It was also said that BCCI stakeholders are not happy with Sarfaraz and the player is unlikely to play for India as long as Gambhir is the head coach of the team.
