While illegal Bangladeshi is living around Chandola Lake, Ahmedabad city police have detained more than 800 illegal Bangladeshis in the last two days. Today, JCP and DCP were present in Chandola area along with the city police commissioner and they themselves inspected in different streets.
About 890 suspects from Chandola area were detained.
In addition, orders have been issued to cut the electricity connection of Bangladeshis living in Chandola Lake area. A team of Gujarat Police has left for Bengal to investigate the documents of Bangladeshis who are illegally living in the state. A team of police will go to Bengal and examine the necessary documents. Two days ago, about 890 suspects from Chandola area were detained.
