Andre Rublev of Russia won the title of Qatar Open ATP men’s single tennis tournament by defeating Britain’s eighth seed Jack Draper 7-5, 5-7, 6-1 in a tough match.

Fifth seeded Rublave has won the trophy in this tournament for the first time since 2020. Apart from this, he has become the champion in a tournament for the first time after winning the Madrid Open in April last year. In the first set, both players retained their service for 11 consecutive games. Finally, the Russian player broke Draper’s service and took the first set. In the second set, the British player made a comeback and took the match to a decisive set, making the finals even more exciting. Earlier, three matches were played between the two, but Draper could not win a single match. In the final set, Rublave broke her opponent’s service twice to the score to 5-0. Last year, Stuttgart and Vienna were deprived of winning the Draper Trophy after reaching the final.
