Order of Prime Minister of Vanuatu

Vanuatu’s Prime Minister Jitoth Napat has ordered the Citizenship Commission to cancel Lalit Modi’s passport immediately. He said that I have come to know in the last 24 hours that Interpol has rejected the alert notice sent by the Government of India in connection with Lalit Modi in the absence of judicial evidence. Keeping a passport is a privilege, not rights. Therefore, the applicant should get citizenship only for reasonable reasons.
