From the education of daughters to the marriage of poor girls, these schemes of Yogi government will get support

Government schemes in up: The Uttar Pradesh government is running several important schemes for the upliftment and empowerment of various sections of the society, especially students, women and economically weaker families. The purpose of these schemes is to provide them financial assistance as well as ensure education, health and social security. Let’s take a look at some major plans and their eligibility:

1. Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana:
This scheme is a unique initiative to brighten the future of daughters of the state and encourage them towards education.

  • Benefit: A total of Rs 15,000 (now it is concerned to increase to Rs 25,000) in installments from the birth of the daughter to her graduation (now it is about Rs 25,000). This amount is received on daughter’s vaccination, admission to school and passing various classes.

  • Eligibility: The beneficiary should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh. The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 3 lakh and only two daughters of one family can get the benefit of this scheme.

2. Chief Minister Group Marriage Scheme:
This scheme is extremely important to help daughters of economically weaker families in marriage.

  • Benefit: Under this scheme, mass wedding ceremonies are organized by the government. Each eligible couple are provided household goods and financial assistance up to Rs 51,000 (which includes funds, clothes, utensils, etc. in the account of the girl).

  • Eligibility: The parents of the girl should be native to Uttar Pradesh and the family is living below the poverty line or whose annual income does not exceed Rs 2 lakh from all sources. The age of the girl should be 18 years at the time of marriage and the age of the groom should be 21 years.

3. Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Scheme:
The government does not face economic obstacles in continuing education of the meritorious and needy students of the state, so the government runs scholarship schemes at various levels.

  • Benefit: North (after class 10) Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities and General Classes are reimbursed.

  • Eligibility: Students are residents of Uttar Pradesh and study in recognized educational institute. The income limit for different classes is determined.

Apart from these, the government is also running several schemes for women’s self -reliance, housing assistance to families and employment and skill development to the youth.
