The desert heat had nothing on Lalisa Manobal (Lisa) this Coachella. On April 11, all eyes were on the Sahara Stage—not just because of her powerful solo performance, but because Lisa of BLACKPINK was about to make history. Though not her first Coachella performance, this was her grand solo debut at the global music festival, and she came prepared with a setlist and a wardrobe that made headlines.

Performing hits like ‘Money’ and new tracks from her album ‘Alter Ego’, each outfit showcased a different side of her evolving persona, from edgy futurism to cute nostalgia.

Here’s a breakdown of every outfit the K-pop queen wore during her game-changing Coachella performance:

Fierce Reptilian Bodysuit

Lisa kicked off her performance with a bold, otherworldly look that instantly set the tone for the night. The Thai rapper was dressed in a high-fashion reptilian bodysuit beneath a dramatic coat, which she shed mid-performance. Her first look was inspired by “Vixi”, one of her alter egos.

The look was conceptualised and brought to life by American designer Asher Levine, known for his avant-garde creations. Speaking about the outfit, Levine said in an email to WWD, “It was amazing to see Lisa embrace the direction I pitched. It pushed the character further into this evolved, powerful alien creature.”

Hello Kitty Set

Next came a total shift in energy as Lisa turned up the kawaii charm in a custom GCDS x Hello Kitty set, styled by Brett Alan Nelson. The ensemble featured a cropped top and matching miniskirt, exuding a playful, flirty flair that took fans by surprise. Lisa complemented this cute look with double hair buns and signature makeup.

Glowing Princess

Taking the stage in yet another show-stopping creation by Asher Levine, Lisa quite literally glowed under the Coachella lights. This intricate ensemble featured an illuminated bodysuit, complete with vein-like neon patterns and translucent, petal-like structures.

The ethereal vibe of this look was tailor-made for dreamy songs like Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me) and Chill, wrapping the audience in a surreal experience.

Hot Red Rockstar

For her final couture, Lisa embraced full-on rockstar glamour. Dressed in a custom ensemble by Michael Schmidt Studios and Zana Bayne, she commanded the stage with fiery confidence. The outfit was inspired by her Rockstar era, made with a bold star top and edgy shorts.

And just when fans thought the show was over, she brought out one final surprise—a spotlight-fitted jacket that lit up the stage as she closed her performance.
