Meerut: Probe into the killing of former Merchant Navy officer, Saurabh Rajput in Meerut by his wife and her lover have revealed new developments. From Black magic to Muskan’s Bollywood aspirations to financial transactions.
Investigations have reveled that Muksan had aspirations of becoming a Bollywood actor.
Police has also stated that after killing Saurabh, his body was chopped up, by Muskan and lover Sahil.
Reportedly, Sahil, took Saurabh’s head and hands to his room and performed black magic before dumping the body into the cement drum.
Probe has also revealed that Sahil was a drug addict and believed in the supernatural.
There also reports of Saurabh transferring ₹6,00,000 that was transferred to Muskan’s and her mother’s accounts.
Reports also suggest that Sahil spent most of the time in his house where he lived with his grandmother. Sahil’s mother died long ago and his father lived in Noida.
Saurabh’s Brother’s Sensational Claims
Saurabh’s brother, Bablu has claimed that Muskan had fled from home aspiring to be a Bollywood actor. And this led to frequent arguments between the couple.
A divorce case was also filed in 2021, but Saurabh’s family urged him to reconsider.
Bablu further alleged that Muskan used Saurabh’s money to purchase a property and an iPhone. He said that Saurabh had returned to India for the renewal of his passport.
Bablu claimed that Muskan’s parents were also involved in the conspiracy and her family was facing a financial crunch.
Development In The Probe So Far
The preliminary probe has suggested that the primary motives behind the murder appear to be Muskan’s extra-marital affair and financial issues.
Police are also verifying details regarding Saurabh’s employment in London despite him being only a 12th-grade pass.
Financial transactions are also being scrutinised, including ₹6,00,000 that was transferred to Muskan’s and her mother’s accounts.
Two police teams have been formed to investigate the matter through all angles, and efforts are underway to file the chargesheet soon.
Muskaan Rastogi and lover Sahil Shukla are currently lodged in the Chaudhary Charan Singh district jail in Meerut.
Post-Mortem Report
Giving an update on the post-mortem report, SP Ayush Vikram Singh said,”The post-mortem report has been received. As per doctors, three stab wounds were found below the left chest nipple, inflicted with a knife. Injuries were also observed on the neck and both wrists. The cause of death has been determined as antemortem injuries leading to shock and hemorrhage. The body was approximately 12 days old, and natural decomposition was noted. Due to exposure to cement, the clothes were damaged. All available facts and evidence are being thoroughly examined and will be included in the investigation.”
