- Fasting on Friday is a very effective way to get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Venus. On this day, the special mantra of Shukra Dev “Om Shum Shukray Namah” or “Om Himkundamrunalbham Daityanan Param Guru Sarvshastra Pravaktran Bhargvam Pranamayaham” should be chanted 108 times. This brings happiness and prosperity in the house.
