Raipur/Bemetara, 29 November (Hindustan Reporter). Cooperative Minister Kedar Kashyap and Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel inaugurated 4 new branches of District Cooperative Central Bank Maryadit Durg in Bemetara district in a program org.zed in Badnara today on Friday.
This branch of the bank will operate in Badnara, Kanhera, Satdha, Godgiri of Navagarh. With the opening of these banks, the dream of prosperity through cooperation will now be realized rapidly. This will benefit 21 thousand farmers of 77 villages of the area. The number of account holders is approximately 24 thousand. On this occasion, the Minister provided ATM cards to three farmers.
It is noteworthy that on the call of Union Cooperative Minister Amit Shah, the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, is carrying out the work of expanding the reach of cooperatives at the grassroots level with the aim of making cooperatives prosperous. In this series, 4 new branches of District Cooperative Central Bank Maryadit Durg have been inaugurated today. In the coming time, the number of cooperative banks will be further increased which will benefit lakhs of farmers and strengthen the direction of economic empowerment.
Minister Kedar Kashyap, while congratulating the people, said that with the opening of these four banks, more than 21 thousand farmers of 77 villages will directly benefit from it. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, paddy is being procured easily from farmers. Farmers have started getting the fruits of their year’s hard work, the government intends that no farmer’s paddy should go back. Our government is committed to purchasing the produce of farmers at the right prices. Minister Shri Kashyap said that special care should be taken to ensure that farmers do not have to wander or face any trouble.
Addressing the new branch inauguration program of the cooperative bank, local MLA and Minister Dayal Das Baghel said that the central and state governments are continuously taking decisions in the interest of farmers. In this series, a new branch of the cooperative bank is being inaugurated. The inauguration program was also addressed by MLA Deepesh Sahu and MLA Ishwar Sahu. On this occasion, Managing Director of Apex Bank, K.N. Kande, District Cooperative Central Bank Durg Chief Executive Officer Shrikant Chandrakar along with local public representatives and farmers were present in large numbers.
