Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Four youths were arrested while they were trying to supply drugs to someone in the city, police said on Sunday. The car in which they were traveling was also seized by the police and they are being questioned for their source of drugs. DCP (zone-2) Abhinay Vishwakarma said that Khajrana police station in charge Manoj Kumar Sendhav had received information about the accused.

The police team reached a ground in the Scheme Number 136 and caught four men sitting in a car. During a search, more than 15 grams of MD drugs were seized from the pocket of one of them. The accused have been identified as Nazim Baig, Altaf, Salman Khan and Mohammad Arshad, all residents of Kazi ki Chawl in the Tukoganj area of the city.

The drug recovered from them is worth Rs 1.5 lakh in the international market. The car was also seized.  Police claimed that the accused are linked with drug dealers of Jhalawar in Rajasthan. They used to supply drugs in the city under the direction of Imran Gauri, who was arrested by the police a few months ago.     

Two held for supplying drugs after booking bike taxi

Dwarkapuri police station staff arrested two youths with ganja and brown sugar worth lakhs of rupees on Saturday. They used to supply drugs using bikes on rent that they booked online in the city.

Additional DCP (zone 4) Anand Yadav informed Free Press that the police team reached near Sirpur Lake and caught two youths named Krishnakant Vaghmare and Vivek Mali, residents of Dwarkapuri area.

They tried to flee from there but they were caught by the police after a chase. They first tried to mislead the police but later confessed to supplying the drugs. More than 1 kilogram of ganja and 8 grams of brown sugar were recovered from them. They are being questioned for the drugs and for other people involved in drug supply.
