Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A four-foot long snake was found hidden in the Tulsi plant at a residence in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar on Thursday night. As soon as one of the family members spotted the snake, he screamed in panic. Neighbours rushed to the spot. The snake rescuer was called and he caught the snake. Later, it was released in a forest.
According to information, a snake entered Kailash Deoria’s house in Ashok Vihar Colony and hid itself in the Tulsi plant, kept at the door of the house. As soon as one of the family members saw the snake, he screamed. Upon ruckus, the nearby people were informed and called the snake catcher.
The snake catcher reached the spot and tried to catch it. After a lot of effort, he finally caught the snake. He then informed the residents that the snake belonged to the rat species. Those snakes are agile and usually found in trees or bushes and also are non-poisonous.
Later, the snake was released in a forest.
3-foot-long cobra was found in almirah in Jabalpur
A similar incident has been reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, where a 3-foot-long female cobra was found in an almirah of a kutcha house a few weeks ago. Later, the snake was rescued and released into the open forest.
