In village Dobhi of the district, four daughters of a family set an example by breaking the shackles of stereotypes. These four daughters shouldered their mother’s bier. According to the information received, late Nekiram Suthar, Harkori’s wife, died at the age of 73 in Dobhi village. He had only eight daughters and no son.
On this occasion, the daughters supported their mother and gave the message of ending the conservative shackles of the society. After the death of the mother, the daughters not only took care of themselves but also performed all the rituals after the death of the mother. These daughters have given a big message to the society, village and surrounding areas. These daughters, who gave the introduction of ‘Aparajita Nari’, are being discussed everywhere. Sarpanch of village Dobhi, Azad Singh Hindustani also appreciated this step of the daughters.
