Subsequent tests confirmed the presence of cancer, with a gleison score 9 (grade Group 5), reflecting one of the most aggressive forms of the disease. Cancer has already spread to his bones.
‘Cancer appears to appear hormone-sensitive’
The statement said, “President Biden is currently reviewing treatment options with his medical team.” “The cancer seems to be hormone-sensitive, which allows effective management through the drug.”
Medical experts have said that this phase of prostate cancer is not good, but its treatment is possible. Speaking to news agency AP, Dr. Matthew Smith of Massachusetts General Brigham Cancer Center said, “In this case, most men will be treated with medicines and will not be advised for surgery or radiation therapy.”

Prostate cancer remains the most common cancer in men in the United States and is another major cause of cancer -related deaths. The prostate gland is part of the male reproductive system, which is responsible for the production of semen fluid and is located just below the bladder.
Biden has already faced health -related challenges, including skin cancer attacks in 2023, when a basal cell carcinoma was removed from their chest during a regular process.
