The quality of forgiveness lies within the courageous person. Cowards cannot dare to forgive anyone. Those who forgive are always full of human and divine qualities. Similarly, the heart of the person who asks for forgiveness is also filled with humility. An apologetic person is also unusual. Many times, even after committing a crime, we do not realize the crime. We resort to lies to justify ourselves. We try to justify ourselves by making various excuses. However, people who are full of humility, who show courage to admit their mistake, such people immediately fold their hands and apologize. No one becomes small by apologizing
The one who asks for forgiveness bows his head for his actions. By doing this the anger of the other person also calms down. He also forgives. On the contrary, even a small thing goes a long way. Then it can also give rise to some major incident or crime. By apologizing we find solutions to many problems ourselves. Only those who are patient can wear the gem of forgiveness. Lord Shri Krishna is the greatest example of forgiveness.
It is unusual to forgive Shishupala’s hundred crimes and challenges. Regarding forgiveness, Lord Mahavir Swami says, “I seek forgiveness from all living beings. My friendship is towards all the creatures of the world. I have no enmity with anyone. I am firm in religion. I seek forgiveness from all living beings for all crimes. I forgive all the crimes committed against me by all living beings.” Makes us humble. We must make this feeling a part of our personality.
