Darwin Nunez’s stoppage-time goal helped Liverpool to a 2-0 win over Brentford in the Premier League at the G-Tech Community Stadium here. The match between Arsenal and Aston Villa was a 2-2 draw. Liverpool extended their Premier League lead over Arsenal to 6 points with a 2–0 win over Brentford.

 

Coming off the bench, Núñez scored his first Premier League goal since November. The Uruguayan striker completed a 1–2 draw between Harvey Elliott and Trent Alexander-Arnold with Elliott scoring the second goal. Liverpool has one match left against Arsenal. However, Arsenal are out of the Premier League title race after Liverpool’s win over Brentford. Meanwhile, Bournemouth won 4–1 against Newcastle. Justin Kluivert scored a hat-trick for Bournemouth. Showing his finishing skills, he scored all three goals from open play. Milos Kerkes scored the fourth goal for Bournemouth in stoppage time. On the other hand, Leicester City’s troubles continued as they lost 2–0 at home to Fulham. This was their seventh consecutive Premier League defeat. Crystal Palace are in 12th place with their third win in four matches.
