Madhya Pradesh: Food Department Seizes Large Number Of Cylinders, Vehicles, Seals Warehouse |

Mhow (Madhya Pradesh): Food Department has taken action against an illegal domestic gas cylinder storage facility in Teli Kheda. Food Officer Priyanka Agarwal, with the help of police uncovered the illegal storage and sealed the warehouse.

15 domestic gas cylinders and 28 commercial gas tanks were recovered from the warehouse. According to Food Department officials, the warehouse was being used for illegal storage and refilling of gas cylinders.

Cops raided, found illegal storage locked

Agarwal said that when the complaint was found to be true in the surveillance done by the team, then on Sunday at around 9 pm, Food Officer Priyanka Agarwal along with her team and the police team raided the place and found the illegal storage locked.

When the team of the food department called the owner of the godown and questioned him, he said that he had given it on rent. When the team broke the godown, they found gas cylinders of most of the gas companies. 15 domestic gas cylinders were found which were completely sealed and 28 commercial gas tanks were found empty.

Along with this, three loading vehicles were also found. The Food Department official said that illegal storage and illegal refilling was being done in this warehouse. The Food Department sealed the warehouse. Agrawal said that the entire operation continued for more than three hours till 12.30 in the night.
