Srinagar: In an accident in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, an army vehicle fell into a ditch in Balnoi area of Mendhar area. Five soldiers have died and many have been injured in this accident. As soon as the information was received, many army officers reached the spot and started rescue operations and took the injured soldiers to the hospital.
There were 8 to 9 soldiers in the military vehicle and five of them died. The remaining treatment is continuing. A military vehicle of 11 MLE going from Neelam Headquarters towards Balnoi Ghara Post met with an accident as soon as it reached Ghoda Post. The vehicle fell into a valley about 300 to 350 feet deep.
The White Corps of the Indian Army said on its official Twitter account that a soldier of the White Knight Corps died in a vehicle accident while on operational duty in the Poonch sector. We condole the death of these brave soldiers. The rescue operation is going on and the injured soldiers are being treated.
Last month, a soldier was killed and another injured in a similar accident in Rajouri. On November 4, soldiers Badrilal and Jaiprakash were seriously injured in an accident near Barog village of Kalakot. Badrilal died during treatment.
