Ballia, 15 November (H.C.). On the full moon, more than five lakh lakh devotees took a holy bath by taking a dip of faith in the fallen Pavani Ganga in Ballia on Friday. Earlier, on the eve of Kartik Purnima in the city of Bhrigu Baba, a grand and divine program was organized on the banks of Maa Ganga on Thursday at Shivrampur Ghat.
At Shivrampur Ghat, the lamps were decorated in the shape of ‘Kartik Purnima’ and ‘Dev Deepawali’. Scholars from Kashi performed Ganga worship with Vedic chanting.
