Fire Breaks Out At Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College In Jabalpur; Fire Brigades Rush To Douse Flames |
Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A fire broke out in the seminar hall of the mental illness department of Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College of Jabalpur, creating a panic situation amongst students and faculties.
A small spark took a monstrous form in a few moments and huge flames of fire became visible till from outside. Preparations for the classes were underway when the blaze initiated.
Students reacted quickly, fire brigade arrived
As soon as the fire broke out, the students studying medicine and the professors got terrified and they immediately reacted by informing the fire brigade about it.
Soon the flames of fire started coming out of the seminar hall and reaching the surrounding rooms, but then the fire brigade staff reached the spot and controlled the fire.
There were no patients in the seminar hall when the fire broke out
It was fortunate that the patients and their relatives were not around the seminar hall at the time of the fire accident, otherwise a huge loss of life could not be ruled out. At present, short circuit is being considered the reason behind the fire incident.
The situation has since been contained, and investigations are undergoing to find the exact cause of the blaze. Meanwhile the college administration has assured to access safety measures to ensure that no such incident takes place in future.
