According to the information received, a 28-year-old complainant, director of a film production company, said that the accused repeatedly sexually abused her for the last two years on the pretext of business meeting and also threatened to gang rape.
After this, when the complainant asked the accused about marriage, he was enraged and assaulted him. After this incident, the victim took her complaint and contacted the Ministry of Home Affairs. Last month, I also approached Amboli police station and lodged a complaint.
On the basis of the complaint, the police further investigated the case and on Sunday, the owner of the Film Construction Company was charged under Section 64 (rape), 72 (2) (sexual harassment), 79 (humiliation of women), 115 (2) (voluntary injury) and under other sections. However, no one has been arrested in this case yet.
