Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Chhava’ is collecting discussion all around. Vicky has played his role in the film ‘Chhava’ very well. Not only Vicky, Akshaye Khanna in the role of Orang, Vineet in the role of poet Kalash and Rashmika Mandana’s acting in the role of Maharani Yesubai is also being liked by the people. The film ‘Chhava’ is also ruling the box office. ‘Chhava’ has made such a strong roar that it seems that all other films flew into its storm.
‘Superboys of Malegaon’ condition badly
This week, two new films ‘Superboy of Malegaon’ and ‘Crazy’ were released, but amidst the continuous success of ‘Chhava’, none of these films managed to grab people. In the third week, Vicky’s ‘Chhaya’ left everyone behind. ‘Chhava’ has retained its magic at the box office. Director Reema Kagti and Amazon MGM Studios’s film ‘Superboys of Malegaon’ was made by the makers with great expectations, but the film could not do wonders at the box office which was expected to her. The film earned around ₹ 50 lakh on the first day, ₹ 60 lakh on the second day and only ₹ 60 lakh on the third day. This figure decreased even further. On Monday, Adarsh Gaurav’s film grossed around ₹ 30 lakh and on Tuesday the figure decreased to ₹ 21 lakh. By the end of its first five days, the film had grossed around Rs 2.2 crore.
‘Crazy’ was seen struggling in theaters
Talking about Tumbad fame actor and director Soham Shah’s film Crazy, the film was well appreciated by the Critics but the audience had to wait a long time in the cinema hall. The film earned ₹ 1.1 crore on the first day, ₹ 1.5 crore on the second day and ₹ 1.6 crore on Sunday. After this the number decreased. It earned ₹ 75 lakh on Monday and ₹ 65 lakh on Tuesday, which increased its total earnings to ₹ 15.5 crore. This film has not been able to take out its budget yet. Meanwhile, ‘Chhava’ continues to dominate the box office.
‘Chhava’ earned ₹ 13 crore on the third Friday, ₹ 22 crore on Saturday and ₹ 24.25 crore on Sunday. On Monday, the film strengthened its position by earning Rs 8.5 crore. Vicky’s film, which has remained strong in its third week, is very much liked by the people. ‘Chhava’ is still getting a lot of viewers, while ‘Crazy’ and ‘Superboy of Malegaon’ are struggling in theaters.
One reason for such a big difference in earnings of ‘Chhava’ and the other two films is that ‘Chhava’ has a star appeal. The film has big names like Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandana, whose star power is benefiting the film. The fourth film is produced by Madock Films, which is a very successful banner in itself. On the other hand, Crazy is directed and produced by Soham Shah. Soham’s previous film ‘Tumbad’ also got appropriate credit for being re -released after many years. Talking about marketing, ‘Chhava’ has been marked on a large scale, due to which the film has reached the people.
