Petrol Diesel Price: Despite the increase in crude oil prices in the global market, petrol and diesel retail prices are seeing a decline in the domestic market. Government oil companies have announced a cut in retail prices of oil on Wednesday. Due to this, oil prices are seeing a decline in oil prices in many cities from Rajasthan to UP. However, there has been no change in prices even today in four metros of the country like Delhi and Mumbai.
According to government oil companies, petrol in UP’s Ghaziabad district is selling 26 paise cheaper at Rs 94.44 per liter. Diesel has also come down by 30 paise to Rs 87.51 per liter. Petrol in the capital Lucknow has increased by 11 paise to Rs 94.69 and diesel by 13 paise to Rs 87.81 per liter. In Rajasthan’s main city Jodhpur, petrol is being sold by 17 paise to Rs 105.54 per liter and diesel by 16 paise to Rs 90.05 per liter.
Talking about crude oil, its prices have seen an increase in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has increased to $ 73.28 per barrel. The price of WTI has also increased to $ 69.29 per barrel.
Prices of petrol and diesel in all four metros
- – Petrol in Delhi is Rs 94.72 and diesel is Rs 87.62 per liter.
- – Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 12.50 per liter. 103.44 and diesel Rs. 89.97 per liter
- – Petrol in Chennai is Rs 12.50 per liter. 100.76 and diesel Rs. 92.35 per liter
- – Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 12 per liter. 104.95 and diesel Rs. 91.76 per liter
Prices changed in these cities
- – Petrol in Ghaziabad has increased to Rs 94.44 and diesel is Rs 87.51 per liter.

The new rates are released daily at 6 am.
Petrol and diesel prices change at 6 am every day. The new rates will be applicable from 6 am. After adding excise, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price is almost double the original price. This is the reason that petrol and diesel prices appear so high.
