Aurangabad: FIEO and CMIA to Organize Certificate Course on Establishing & Growing Your Export Business |
The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) – Western Region and the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) will jointly organize a two-day certificate program on the theme “Establishing & Growing Your Export Business” on December 12 and 13, 2024, at Bajaj Bhavan CMIA Hall, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
CMIA’s Honorary Secretary Atharveshraj Nandawat stated that the initiative aims to help participants understand various aspects of the export business while equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to expand their ventures globally. He added that in a rapidly changing business environment, international trade has gained immense importance, and the course is designed to enable businesses to adapt to these changes effectively.
On the first day of the program, discussions will focus on key aspects of international trade. Participants will gain insights into understanding the current business environment, selecting target markets, fulfilling and processing export documentation, and calculating export costs. Additionally, there will be an in-depth session on the Foreign Trade Policy 2023.
What will the session have?
The second day will feature sessions on establishing and growing business relationships in international markets. Participants will be guided on finding and verifying new buyers and effective communication with international clients. The program will also explore how to leverage new Free Trade and Preferential Trade Agreements, finalize delivery and payment terms, and select the right logistics partners.
The concluding session will facilitate interaction with key stakeholders in the export ecosystem. Representatives from leading banks will discuss the role of banks in the export sector, ECGC will provide guidance on managing export risks, and India Post will present its Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra project. NSIC will shed light on government schemes available for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), while FIEO will elaborate on its critical role in the export sector, added Atharveshraj Nandawat.
This certificate course will feature expert trainers and representatives from various stakeholders in the export ecosystem. Pre-registration is mandatory for participation.
