About The Case
The Police Control Room received a call reporting a fight between two groups in the Upendra Nagar area on Friday. A team from the Dadar police station, including Ashwini, arrived at the scene. When the police attempted to de-escalate the situation and asked the individuals involved to accompany them to the station, Arvind and Praveen allegedly pushed Assistant Sub-Inspector Salunkhe and Deshmukh.
Salunkhe fell to the ground and, as Ashwini tried to assist him, Pushkaraj and Sonali reportedly began assaulting her. As the situation escalated, additional officers were called to the scene. They managed to take the four accused into custody, including Sonali, who had physically attacked the constable. Based on a complaint filed by Deshmukh, the police have registered a case against the Pawaskar family and are conducting further investigations.
