After a heated argument, Son stabbed father in the stomach
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Dayaram Malviya, a resident of Nayta Mundla. His daughter told police that her brother Balaram Malviya demanded a share in the house, but her father refused. Dayaram had already given Balaram his share, which he had sold. Despite this, Balaram insisted on getting another share. When his father declined, a heated argument ensued, and Balaram stabbed him in the stomach. Family members rushed Dayaram to MY Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday night.
Had sold his own land but still demanded a share
Dayaram worked as a security guard at Silver Springs. His elder son had passed away long ago. He had already divided his land between his daughter and son. However, Balaram sold his portion and later returned to demand another share in the house.
On the evening of March 15, Balaram arrived at the house and started arguing over the property. As the argument escalated Balaram suddenly attacked his father with a knife and fled the scene.
