Vaibhav Suryavanshi Struggling Story: After scoring the fastest century of IPL in 35 balls at the age of just 14, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is being discussed across the country. In such a situation, after his historical century, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has told the story of his struggle. He said, ‘My mother used to sleep for only three hours and my father had quit her job to fulfill my dream of becoming a cricketer. The family ran home under difficult circumstances, but kept my dream of becoming a cricketer alive. ‘
Today, his hard work and his family renunciation has brought him to this point. Vaibhav spoke to the IPL T20 about his historic innings, struggle, family cooperation and future goals.
Mother wakes up at two in the morning.
Vaibhav said, ‘Whatever I am today, I am because of my parents. My mother used to get up at 2 in the morning due to my practice. He went to bed at 11 pm and slept only three hours. Then he used to cook for me. My father has quit his job, my elder brother has taken over the work of his father and due to this, there is financial crisis in the house. And my father is fully supporting me and saying, ‘You will do this, you will do this, you will do this… God sees that those who work hard never fail.’
These words are 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has scored several records by scoring a century off just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans in the IPL match on 28 April.
With this innings played in the IPL, he also proved that the mango definition of ‘talent and opportunity’ is only for players like Vaibhav. Because when the talent like Vaibhav got an opportunity, he proved how much capacity it has.
Vaibhav further said, “I had been preparing for this innings for a long time.” And today when I got the result, I liked it, I will try to do better in future. I want to contribute to the team. Meanwhile, he recalled his parents’ struggles in this interview.
What happened in the trial with Vaibhav, he himself told
Vaibhav also told the story of Rajasthan Royals Trial during this interview. He said, when I went for the trial (for Rajasthan Royals), Vikram (Rathore) Sir and Romi (Bhinder) were there. Romi Sir is a team manager. I then batted well in trials. Then he said, “We will try to include you in our team.” When I joined the team, I got the first call from him. He congratulated me and then made me talk to Rahul (Dravid) Sir. It was a very good filler. Because training, working and playing under Rahul sir is nothing short of a dream for an ordinary cricketer.
Get support from seniors
Vaibhav further said in this interview that I get a lot of support from my seniors. The coaching staff also helps. Sanju Bhai, Ryan Bhai, Yashasvi Bhai, Nitish Bhai are also ready for help. Everyone talks to me positively. These people assure me that you can do this, you can win the team, that’s why my confidence is very high. I am a little nervous because this is an IPL match. But what will happen, is there no pressure? After talking to everyone, everything becomes normal.
It is normal to hit a six on the first ball.
Vaibhav also said in this interview that it was normal for me to hit a six on the first ball. Because, I had already done all this in the Under-19 Indian team and domestic matches. Because I knew one thing, if the ball came on my radar, I will kill him. I did not think he was a big bowler. Now I want to contribute to India, want to play, so I have to prepare accordingly.
I don’t think much.
Vaibhav, who scored a century from 35 balls, hit 11 sixes and 7 fours in his innings. He was also the best player of the match. After the match, he said, “I feel very good.” This is my first century in the IPL and this was my third innings. The practice done before the tournament is now getting good results. I just see and play the ball. It is fun to bat with Yashasvi Jaiswal, he explains to me what to do and always talk positively. It was my dream to score a century in the IPL and today it came true. I am not afraid. I don’t think much, just focus on sports.
