Fatehabad, 19 November (HS). Tohana police has arrested the main accused in the case of murder of an elderly man by crushing him with a tractor in village Samain. On Tuesday, the police produced the accused in the court and took him on police remand. In this case, the police have registered a case against 28 people including State President of Haryana Sarpanch Association Ranbir Singh on charges of murder.

Regarding this, police station Sadar Tohana in-charge Sandeep Kumar said that the police had registered a case in this regard on November 17 on the complaint of Krishna son Shamsher Singh, resident of village Samain. According to the complainant, on November 16, his father Shamsher Singh was killed by the accused by running over a tractor. This police arrested Ramniwas, Naresh, the present Sarpanch of the village Ranbir, Sombir, Mandeep, Sandeep, Pradeep, Surendra, Deependra, Lokendra, Karnail, Balraj, Karm Singh, Sube Singh, Ishwar, Rohtash, Yudhveer, Kulbir, Suresh, Harpal, Tejbir. A case was registered against Talveer, Pradeep, Gurdev, Shamsher, Sohan and Vinod.

In this case, investigating officer HC Manjeet Singh has arrested the accused Surendra alias Shindra, son of Chhoturam, resident of Samain.
