According to the Vedic almanac, the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Magh month is starting at 11:54 am on February 2, which will end the next day i.e. on February 3 at 9:36 am. The festival of Vasant Panchami will be celebrated on 3 February 2025 as per Udaya Tithi.

Mahashivaratri 2025

The festival of Mahashivaratri is celebrated every year on the Chaturdashi date of the Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month. The greatness of Lord Shiva is described in the Puranas. It is believed that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were married on this day. Therefore, there is also a tradition of fasting with duly worship of Lord Shiva on this day. This year Mahashivaratri will be celebrated on 26 February.
