Road infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh is developing at a record pace. Large projects and better connectivity schemes of the government have included UP in the leading states of the country. There is a tremendous improvement in the construction and expansion of the National Highway and State Highway in the state.

The process of converting the State Highway to National Highway 732-B in Ballia district is moving fast. For this change, land acquisition work is being done rapidly in Belterrod. The acquisition of agriculture and vacant land up to about 7 kilometers in 10 villages of Tehsil area is almost complete. So far 60% of people have been compensated, and the buildings will be surveyed on 11 February and 12 February.

Land acquisition process continues rapidly in Ballia district

The work of converting the State Highway to the National Highway 732-B in Belterrod region in Ballia district is in full swing. Under this project:
Land acquisition work has been completed for 7 kilometers.
60% of land owners have been compensated.
Compensation of Rs 25 crore has been distributed.
Land acquisition work for the National Highway is in the final stages.

Under this project, the Nawalpur-Sikandarpur road is being converted to National Highway 732-B, which falls under Ballia-Sonauli route and connects Ballia and Deoria districts from the banks of river Saryu.

Villages to complete acquisition in tehsil area:
Turtipar, Khaira Khas, Chandanapatti Nirbhayapur, Sahunpur, Udan, Majhwaliya, Kakraso, Karimganj, Belthara Bazar and Haldirampur.

Survey of buildings and assets on 11 and 12 February

SDM Nishant Upadhyay informed that the acquisition work of buildings and properties will be completed on 11 and 12 February. After this, the process of handing over the land of this region to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India will start.

Travel from Etawah to Kannauj and easy, highway will be converted into four lane

National Highway 91-A in Uttar Pradesh is being converted into four lane, which will make the journey from Etawah to Kannauj easier.

Under this project:
981.14 crore has been approved.
Connectivity of Bundelkhand to Agra-Lucknow Expressway will improve.
The problem of traffic jam will end.

In 2017, the Public Works Department (PWD) sent a proposal to NHAI to make Etawah-Kannauj highway from Bharthana intersection.
In 2020, the project was announced by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Now, its work is moving fast.
