Pahalgam terrorist attack: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, the Government of India ordered Pakistani citizens to leave India. Now Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and senior leader of the National Conference, has objected to this government order. He criticized this decision of the central government and described it as inhuman and humanity. Especially in cases where people have been living peacefully in India for decades.

Farooq Abdullah expresses sympathy to citizens living in India

Speaking to reporters, senior National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah said, “This step taken by the central government is not good.” It is against humanity. There are many people here who have been living for 70 or 25 years, their children are here, they never harmed India. He has always been a good citizen, he has dedicated himself to India, in such a situation it is not appropriate to send him back.

Expressing concern over the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, Farooq Abdullah said, “We don’t know what will happen tomorrow.” Today two countries are getting ready to fight. We have to try to prevent this from happening and find a direct way to catch the terrorists and the people behind this attack.

Pakistan had closed the border.

Significantly, on 24 April, the government issued a guideline for Pakistani citizens. In which more than 700 Pakistani citizens have left India through the Attari-Wagah border in six days. During this period, about 1376 Indian citizens have also returned to their country from Pakistan. However, the border has now been closed by Pakistan, due to which many citizens are trapped on the border. Currently 70 Pakistani citizens are sitting on the attic border.
