Concern expressed over farmers’ suicide

“According to government data, 4 lakh farmers have committed suicide so far, but the actual number is more than 7 lakh. It is necessary to curb these incidents. This fight is not only for rights, but also to save the lives of farmers.”
Huge crowd gathered in Mahapanchayat
On the appeal of the farmer leader, farmers from many states including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan gathered at the Khanauri border. Punjab minister sought help from the Center
Agriculture Minister of Punjab Gurmeet Singh Khudian Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan Demanded personal intervention from. He said the Center should end the deadlock by holding talks with the protesting farmers.

“Farmer leader Dallewal has been on hunger strike for 40 days. The central government should take positive steps in this matter. “State governments have a lot of expectations from the Centre.”
