According to local media, Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested the actress from Dhanmandi area of ​​the capital on Thursday evening. Afroz criticized the Muhammad Yunus rule and especially his press advisor on his Facebook page.

According to reports, she was criticizing the interim government of Bangladesh led by Mohammad Yunus. Meher Afroz Sean is not only a famous Bangladesh actress, but also a director, dancer and playback singer. Meher won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Singer for the film ‘Krishnopokkha’ in 2016.

According to the report, students and local residents set fire to their ancestral house near Norundi railway station in Jamalpur at around 6 pm on Thursday evening. The house belonged to his father Engineer Mohammad Ali. Who sought nomination from Awami League in the last national elections. Her mother Begum Tehura Ali served in Parliament twice from the reserved women’s seat. The actress also contested from a reserved parliamentary seat as Awami League candidate in the last election.

The mob also set fire to Sheikh Hasina’s father’s house.
