It was learned that the deceased fun-loving British man, Paul Broome, would often say he was “nuts”. The family mentioned that Broome would joke about wanting to lie down in a Snickers-themed coffin. So, after this death, they rested his dead body in the said coffin, paying tribute to his jovial nature and his last wish.
When he died, the family considered burying him in a coffin that reflected his personality. They also carried out a funeral procession which reportedly spread joy rather than mourning Broome’s death. People joined dressed in vibrant custom T-shirts as they clapped and walked on the streets.
The procession passed by the deceased’s favourite cafe’, as a further tribute.
