Manoj Lasi, a leader from the Team Omi Kalani, speaking with a reporter, said that people who come from Pune, Mumbai, and adjacent cities to Ulhasnagar to eat Ulhasnagar’s famous or unique item, Dal Pakwad, Dal Sandwich, and Butter Papadi.

Moreover, the wooden god temple manufacturing unit has been established here. It supplies across India, and orders are placed in huge quantities by interstate businessmen.

The Sindhi community firmly believes in doing business and plays a major role in the development of Ulhasnagar. We have generated thousands of employment opportunities in Ulhasnagar and paid substantial taxes, such as house taxes and GST, to the state government.”

The total population of Ulhasnagar is of over 6 lakh.Ulhasnagar has a total of 2,83,379 voters, including 1,51,378 males, 1,31,898 females, and 103 transgender individuals. “In the Ulhasanagar constituency people’s including Marathi, Sindhi, Punjabis, Bangali, Gujrati, Muslim, South Indians and Uttar Pradesh residents.

A shopkeeper from Gajanan Market said that people come from Nashik, Pune, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, and adjacent cities to purchase wedding invitation cards and brides and grooms’ clothes. Hemant Shukla, a resident of Bhiwandi, said that car accessories can be obtained at a very cheap rate and good quality compared to other cities.

Umesh Tiwari, a boutique showroom in Bhiwandi, said, “The rate of denim and shirts is very reasonable, and the quality is also good compared to other cities. Indeed, as businessmen, we want to purchase at a reasonable rate and later sell it to the local area at a low rate to increase sales.”
