Jalaun, 21 November (H.C.). Even after accidents across the state, the administration is not taking action against the basement operators. Out of about 40 basements operated in the city, only one has NOC of the Fire Department. Recently, the basement fire does not warn even after the fire incident. Along with this, many operators have not passed the map from ODA. ODA notice has also been issued to 22 operators on this.

Let us know that in the past, a fire broke out in a tractor showroom in the basement located on Jalaun Road in the city Kotwali area. There was a loss of about one crore in this. Fire NOC was not taken in the basement. Due to no adequate arrangements to extinguish the fire, the fire department had to face a lot of difficulties in extinguishing the fire. Even after this, security rules are being ignored. In some of these basements, coaching centers are being operated and some are running a clothing showroom. Especially the basements located in the middle of the market can prove to be more dangerous, because the entire market can be affected if any accident occurs. Three months ago, the City Magistrate campaigned and sealed half a dozen basements. When the campaign was over, the basements were started again.

In view of this, the ODA has again issued a notice to 22 basement operators and given a week. AE Kamlesh Kumar Shukla of ODA said that if the basements are not closed within the stipulated time, they will be sealed.
