The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) tomorrow, December 13, 2024. The exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 for teachers of classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for teachers of classes 6 to 8.
Important Guidelines for CTET December 2024
Examination Timings:
Paper 2 (Morning Session): The examination hall will open at 7:30 am.
Paper 1 (Evening Session): The hall will open at 12:30 pm. Candidates must report at the examination hall well in advance to avoid missing the general instructions before the test begins.
Biometric Authentication:
Biometric verification may be introduced at the exam centers. Candidates should arrive early to account for time spent on this process.
Admit Card:
Candidates must bring a valid Admit Card downloaded from the official CTET website. Entry to the exam hall will not be permitted without it.
Seat Allocation:
Each candidate will be assigned a specific seat based on their roll number. It is crucial to occupy the assigned seat only. Changing seats or rooms will lead to the cancellation of the candidature, with no exceptions.
Late Arrival:
Candidates who arrive after the exam has started will not be allowed to sit for the test.
Prohibited Items at the Exam Center
Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying the following items inside the examination hall:
Stationery items (e.g., pens, erasers, geometry boxes, calculators, etc.)
Communication devices (e.g., mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, etc.)
Watches, wallets, goggles, handbags, or any ornaments
Any other items that could be used for unfair practices or concealment of communication gadgets
Exam Room Etiquette
Leaving the Room:
Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam room during the test unless given special permission by the invigilator. They must hand over their answer sheets and sign the attendance sheet when leaving.
Attendance Sheet:
If a candidate fails to sign the attendance sheet for the second time upon leaving, it will be treated as an unfair means case.
Candidates are advised to follow all instructions carefully to ensure a smooth and successful examination process.
