Ex-RTO Saurabh Sharma Case: Sharma Hid Details About Elder Brother While Anukampa Appointment Process | FP Photo
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Major revelations have surfaced regarding ex-RTO constable Saurabh Shrama’s case on Saturday. As per the reports Saurabh hid the details about his elder brother, Sachin Sharma, in his Anukampa form.
Hence, Saurabh allegedly manipulated the process from the very beginning.
During the investigation, a copy of his Anukampa appointment application was found (dated December 2015).
In the application, Saurabh provided information only about himself and his mother, Uma Sharma, as family members.
He skipped mentioning his elder brother, Sachin Sharma, who was already employed as an Assistant Director in the Audit Cell of the Finance Department in Raipur (since September 2013).

Involvement of CMHO alleged
The application also contains the signatures and seal of the then CMHO (Chief Medical and Health Officer), along with Saurabh’s signature.
As per the application, Saurabh’s father Rakesh Kumar Sharma passed away in November 2015.
Saurabh’s educational qualifications included B.Sc. and PGDCA. The address mentioned was 47 Vinay Nagar, Sector 2, Gwalior. Saurabh’s mother Uma Sharma also signed the application providing consent.
RTI activist Sanket Sahu filed complaint
The case took a new turn after RTI activist and advocate Sanket Sahu filed a complaint with the Lokayukta SP.
He alleged that Saurabh deliberately hid facts in his application and demanded legal action against both Saurabh. Also, the then CMHO who verified the application helped Sharma.
Sahu submitted copies of the application to support his claims.
As per Sahu’s complaint, Saurabh intentionally hid his brother’s details to claim himself as the sole breadwinner of the family, considering this stance is considered as manipulation in the Anukampa appointment process.
