Do you believe that regular health checkup is the most effective way to maintain health? Nutritionist Rashi Chaudhary also emphasizes this. According to him, the initial investigation not only prevents diseases from reaching critical condition, but also prevents huge expenses of hospitals in a long time.
In one of his videos, he has told about four such necessary tests, which every Indian must do from time to time. These tests help to identify the internal conditions of the body in time.
1. Vitamin D Test
According to the zodiac, 70 to 90 percent of people in India are found to have vitamin D deficiency, and women are more victims of it.
Vitamin D acts like a hormone, not only a vitamin. It plays an important role in immunity, fertility, mood and weight loss.
- Symptoms of deficiency: bone weakness, tiredness, mental confusion (brain fog), and stress.
- Special thing: If you are taking medicines like metformin, statin or tax, then it can drop the level of vitamin D further faster.
Appropriate level: 60-70 NG/Ml
How to take supplement: Take an empty stomach in the morning with something containing fat. Do not take at night as it can affect sleep.
2. HBA 1C and Fasting Insulin Test
Rashi says that about 50 percent of people in India have silent diabetes, that is, who have symptoms of diabetes in their body, but they do not know about it.
If you have black spots on your neck, keeps sweet food, or there is a habit of eating snacks immediately after eating food – then it can be signs.
- Shocking figure: The number of diabetes patients in India has increased from 70 million to 130 million in a few years.
- Prediabetis: There are no clear symptoms of this, so test is the only solution to it.
Suitable level of HBA1C: less than 5.3
Suitable level of fasting insulin: less than 5 MIU/L
Necessary changes: If your levels are above normal, then make changes in your food-especially rice, roti, millet, tea-biscuits etc.
3. Fatty Liver Screening
If your stomach feels round and hard, it can be a sign of fatty liver, not just fat.
The problem of fatty liver is no longer limited to only overweight people – people with normal weight are also falling in it.
- Special signs: Fat accumulation around the neck, hard abdominal stomach, and increased belly despite not increasing weight.
- Rashi claim: India has now become the capital of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Who threatens more: People suffering from PCOS, insulin resistance or diabetes.
4. Other important tests related to liver function
Rashi Chaudhary says that you must also get your Alt, AST, and albumin level checked.
If these levels are high, it can point to swelling in the body.
- Also help from ultrasound:
- Less than 5% fat = healthy liver
- 6–33% = grade 1 fatty liver
- 34–66% = grade 2
- More than 66% = grade 3 (serious condition)
Caution is essential: Grade 3 means serious disadvantage, which should not be ignored.
Alert: Aloe vera should also know these disadvantages along with the benefits of juice, otherwise it can be serious
