Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that every eligible person in the state would be connected to government welfare schemes under Jan Kalyan Abhiyan (Public Welfare Campaign). Camps will be organised at the village panchayat and ward level in urban areas to ensure all eligible citizens are linked to these schemes.
He stated this while addressing Jan Kalyan Parv event in Mauganj on Saturday. He also disbursed Rs 332 crore as the first installment of scholarships for 60 lakh school students across the state with a single click.
During the event, CM also laid the foundation stone for Rs 5041 crore Sitapur-Hanumana Lift Irrigation Project, which will facilitate irrigation in over 400 villages in the district. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation for 57 construction projects worth Rs 5175 crore. Additionally, CM handed out Akshay Patras filled with nutritional food to two pregnant and lactating women under Poshan Aahar Yojana.
He also performed Gau Puja to honor cows and promote their conservation. Notably, he honoured Saughilal Yadav, who cares for over 100 cows in the Mauganj district. Yadav said that Mauganj had been left behind in the race for development. “Our government declared Mauganj a district, and now we are delivering the gift of development to the region,” he added.
