When Nawazuddin Siddiqui was talked about this in a show, he directly compared him with veteran actor Sanjeev Kumar. Nawazuddin said that Sanjeev Kumar neither had any style nor his body was so fit, yet he was a star.
No body or style but a star?
In an interview given to the media, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was asked that people often say that you have no style, no perfect body, yet you have become a star in Bollywood, so how do you take it? On this, Nawazuddin Siddiqui laughed and said, “You should try to relate it to Sanjeev Kumar… Sanjeev Kumar had no style. Although it is absolutely true that he was a good actor, his character was completely different in every film.”

Nawazuddin further said, when Sanjeev Kumar used to sing commercial film songs, the lines on his forehead looked very beautiful. I mean, his body was a little plump, but the lines on his forehead stood out when he sang. I have never seen such a beautiful person in my life. There is no doubt that if he was playing a character in one film, his character in the other film was completely different. So I don’t care what anyone says, I just do my best and my fans love me.”
